Born and partly raised in Finland, the land of the Kalevala, Michelle was from an early age introduced to the magic of the earth and immersed in the enchantment of the lakes, forests, plants and rocks. Always drawn and fascinated by shamanic tales, at the age of 16, a picture of Machu Picchu made her fall in a deep trance. She knew she had lived there and would one day return.
A head-on train collision in the jungles of Peru on December 24, 2004 brought that vision to life. A journey that was supposed to last just one week, extended to several months during which the Q’ero Master Shamans, recognizing in her the reincarnation of an Inka Princess and the most powerful Shawoman in Atlantis, started initiating her. She became the Godmother of two Q’ero children and since 2009, pressured by the Q’eros themselves, has been leading groups to Peru and Bolivia on mystical, transformative journeys.
She has also spent time in Colombia with the Arhuaco Mamos in the sacred mountains of the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta where she had the privilege to further explore the indigenous wisdom of South America.
Don Pascual, one of her teachers, encouraged her to create her own professional school. The Llankay, Munay, Yachay School of Shamanic Studies quickly became very popular both in Phoenix, AZ and Helsinki, Finland.
Alongside her private practice, mystical journeys and shamanic workshops, Michelle also performs ancient ceremonies (Despacho Prayer Ceremonies) in North and South America, as well as in Asia and Europe.
